School Council

Navigation Primary's school council this year will be run under the guidance of Miss Walsh. Our councillors were elected at the start of the new academic year with children from Year 2 through to Year 6.

When do we meet?

Representatives meet every other Tuesday to discuss current issues affecting our school.

Aims of the school council

The school council enables pupils’ voices to be heard, promotes active citizenship and is a link between pupils in classes and the school staff.

What can you do to help?

The school council members are always interested in hearing new ideas to make Navigation an even better school. This includes fund raising events to make these ideas happen. You can recognise your student councillors by the “councillor” badge that they wear. If you cannot find one of the councillors, just write your fantastic idea on one of the suggestion slips and put it in the suggestion box located outside the front office.

Look out for future council updates in the school newsletter.
