Navigation Reception 2020
I am delighted that you have accepted a place for your child in the reception class at Navigation Primary School for September 2020. The reception staff and I very much look forward to working in partnership with you to secure the best education for your child and we hope to meet you and answer any queries you may have over the next term.
We would normally hold an information evening in July to give you an opportunity to come to the school and meet the staff but unfortunately this will not be possible this year. This year we will hold a Zoom meeting on Wednesday 24th June where we will share key information with you and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. As there are 60 of you we have split the cohort in to two groups. If your family name starts with A-K your meeting will be at 11am and if your family name begins with L -Z your meeting will be at 2pm. If you have any difficulties with these times please email [email@example.com} marked FAO Miss Kyle. I will forward the Zoom invite to this to you shortly.
This year we have uploaded all of the key information onto the school website www.navigationprimary.com the page is entitled Navigation Reception Intake September 2020. Prior to the Zoom meeting it would be useful if you have looked at the in case you have any queries.
Additionally, the reception staff would normally complete home visits to meet you and your child but again that is not possible this year but the staff will be contacting you to discuss your child. In the meantime, we have created this resource section on the website - please take time to go through the information, apologies that this is so lengthy, but we want to gain as much information about your little one as we can prior to September. Please then complete the forms and home visit questionnaire and email those back to school [firstname.lastname@example.org] by Friday 26th June to allow staff to collate information and place your child in the class they feel will suit them best looking at friendship groups etc. If you are unable to access these forms and complete them online please email the school office as soon as possible on email@example.com
Our uniform can be ordered via a shortcut on our website or you can go directly via http://navigationprimary.gooddies.co.uk At this time it is not possible to have delivery and collection at school but home deliveries can ordered up to 31st July.
At this time, we are awaiting further information from central government about what school will be like in September - as soon as we know we will share this with you.
