Year one and two are having a very exciting year so far. Our topics to date in year 2 have been about Fire!Fire! with an exciting visit to Staircase House to find out about The Great Fire of London, Britannia - all about British inventors and explorers and we still have Animal Park, Mexico and the Olympics to come.In year 1 we found out all about homes and had a walk around our local area and learnt about different types of homes. Then we learnt about how toys have changed over time and even made our own puppets with some help from home. The we found out about food from around the world and enjoyed some cooking. Our planned topics for the rest of the year are Rainbow Fish, Hospitals and a study of the UK. They are going to be very exciting!
